Here are some fun and safe kids activities for the 4th of July. 4th of July crafts are a fun way to get your kids creative juices flowing while celebrating the birth of our nation. So celebrate the Fourth of July with this fun preschool crafts that your kids will enjoy.

Fireworks Splats

For this activity you need a bowl of milk and some ring an eyedropper helps. Hold the dropper above the bowl a bit for spectacular splashes.

Painted Fireworks

You can use different painting techniques with your child to get a sprawled out firework effect on your paper. Get some heavy cardstock or construction paper, liquid tempera paints and you are ready to begin. Have on hand sponges (shaped like stars), straws, plastic pot scrubbers, stampers and cookie cutters. Use the sponges, stampers and cookie cutters to stamp pictures onto your paper. Drop dabs of paint and blow on them with a straw for a wonderful firework design.

HINT: To prevent kids from accidentally sucking up the paint put a small slit in the straw near the top. Dip the scrubbers into paint and gently press them on the paper. Use black paper to make white fireworks. You can make all kinds of wonderful printed fireworks this way.

Glitter Fireworks

Paint fireworks shapes on a paper with a paintbrush and glue or draw them with a glue stick. Sprinkle glitter on the designs.
