Cat Noise Maker

A terrific sensory craft for preschoolers and toddlers.

  

 

Materials Needed

oatmeal box
string
glue,
scissors,
construction paper

Directions for Assembly

  1. Make a very small hole in the center of the oatmeal container lid.
  2. Cut string to two feet in length.
  3. Push the string through the hold.
  4. Knot on the inside of the lid so it won't pull through.
  5. Glue lid to the box, and cover with orange paper or any color you like.
  6. Glue a cat shape to the box.
  7. Draw your thumb and first fingernails down the string to make the kitty cat "purring".
